We are looking for Zonal Business Manager for Idea Cellular Ltd, Bihar Circle. Position could be based any zone with Bihar Circle.
JD :
PRIMARY:
Strategy and Planning
- Develop sales forecast for the year and implement strategy to achieve desired numbers and market share for each product (Pre-paid, Post-paid, etc).
- Develop effective and productive channel construct to meet targeted numbers and revenue for the zone.
- Define allocation of network, finance and manpower resources in the zone with approval from Sales Head in order to increase market share.
Channel Operations Management
- Ensure the desired product availability up to the last point of the market.
- Ensure that the dealers/ retailers maintain adequate stocks of all company products and merchandise as per norms.
- Ensure the availability of required manpower at dealerships as per plan and monitor their conduct/ behavior
- Build trust and relationship with dealers/ retailers and company by clearing any doubts/confusions and providing solutions to any issue raised by the franchisee stores within reasonable time frame.
- Work with circle marketing in management of schemes/ promotions/ contests being run to promote the company brand.
- Ensure flow of knowledge, skills and training from company to the dealer/ retailer staff to ensure output as per targets. Establish training plan for dealership. Assess training requirements on an ongoing basis. Coordinate with training content and service providers to implement training.
- Establish sales channel compensation at the zonal level based on corporate guidelines and with the approval of the circle sales head.
- Ensure targeted productivity norms for the channel.
SHARED
- Assess and analyze impact of trade promotions/ schemes/ promotions/ contest being run by the circle and communicate feedback to Corporate Distribution.
- Develop strong market intelligence and monitor competitor activities on trade channel related matters and proactively provide feedback to corporate.
- Disseminate best practices in franchise management to corporate.
- Build and develop team. Enhance team motivation and productivity levels. Assist HR in identifying team-training inputs.
- Supervise MIS generation and analysis on a periodic basis and provide feedback on best practices to Corporate Head Distribution. Monitor competitor activity and provide feedback to corporate office.
