Idea - Product Marketing

With the launch of 3G, the “3G Product team member” will be responsible to support in achieving the device and data plans revenue by working along with the sales teams. This will involve joint working in ground level promotions and activities, designing 3G plans as per market requirement.

He/she will work with the sales team on the various branding and pop material that would be required at the retail and ground level.

Challenges likely to be faced by this team member are:

- Continuous upgrade/refresher on new technological changes along with new device models & Operating Systems.

- 3G technology being new, role holder will have to take a lead in new data & device offerings.

- Role holder is also expected to continuously upgrade knowledge about opportunities, trends etc which are happening at a fast pace and work towards converting them to revenue sources for Idea.

- Again these being new areas, great deal of efforts are required to educate the customers and get them to spend money on these value added services through effective campaigns
