With the launch of 3G, the “3G Product team member” will be responsible to support in achieving the device and data plans revenue by working along with the sales teams. This will involve joint working in ground level promotions and activities, designing 3G plans as per market requirement.

He/she will work with the sales team on the various branding and pop material that would be required at the retail and ground level.

1) Responsible 2G and 3G new data subscription sales and data plan revenue.

- Provide market information and requirement.

- Track competition data plans.

- Work along with the sales teams in gathering relevant data required to design promos.

2) Responsible for driving penetration of 3G enabled handsets and sale of 3G dongle

- Implement handset bundling offers at circle level.

- Provide inputs for design bundling offers as per field requirement.

- Follow the latest device and handset trend in the markets.

- Maintain stock levels as per the sales requirements.

3) Branding activities

- Work on implementation of brand campaigns to support data products.

- Ensure that the pop and other branding elements are available at the field level.

4) MIS

- Track and report revenue metrics to 3G Product Vertical head.

- Monitor revenue reporting to ensure timely actions and compliance adherence.

5) U & R

- Detailed revenue analysis device sales and data plan revenue.

- Prepare specific recommendation based on the above.

CRITICAL SKILLS REQUIRED :

- Functional: Product Management, Data Analysis, Marketing Research, Business Communications and Campaign Management

- Generic: Aggressive, Collaborative and Business Savvy

- Good Communication skills

- Analytical skills

- Hands on MS Office applications viz. Excel, Power point and Access (preferred)

- Industry : Only Telecom (pref. with Ex-GSM experience)

QUALIFICATION: MBA with BE/B. Tech (Preferred)
