Opening for the position of Senior Manager - Financial Accounting & Reporting in IDBI Federal Life Insurance Co. Ltd. (Head Office)

Location: Lower Parel

Days of Working: 5 days

- To administer and manage general accounting activities and the preparation of financial statements & to provide reliable information to the management. To ensure financial compliance as directed by IRDAI.

Financial accounting:

- Prepare financial reports to internal as well as external customers which includes.

- Financial statements for promoters

- Financial statements under Indian GAAP

- Financial statements under Ind AS regulations

- Preparation of special accounting reports and cost statements .

- Analyse the operating expense reports and identification of variance and deviations.

- Allocation of operating expense to various business segments / products / departments as per agreed parameters.

- Supervise the maintenance of company's general ledgers and ensure availability of schedules.

- Oversee maintenance of Oracle Financials and interfaces between Oracle & other applications and review reconciliation as required.

- Resolution of accounting issues, responsible for preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports & review.

- Compliance of company related activities with relevant Acts, legal demands and ethical standards - New Business sign off, Public Disclosures, BAP Returns and other statutory & regulatory compliances

- Interaction with internal & external auditors.

- Sharing of financial information with management and audit committee to ensure compliance with finance, accounting and auditing standards.

IFRS CERTIFICATION IS A MUST.
