- Ensure timely execution of assignments involving rating of securitised debt (Asset-Backed Securitisation, Mortgage-Backed Securitisation, corporate loan securitisation, NPL securitisation etc) - Work along with relevant sector analysts for rating of on-balance sheet structured debt (credit enhancement could be full/partial guarantee, escrow mechanism, letter of comfort, put option, DSRA support and so on); issuers could be across sectors, viz., fin sector entities, corporate entities, municipal bodies or ULBs, PSUs, infra SPVs and so on) - Ensure regular monitoring of the portfolio of rated issuances - Track the credit quality trends in retail loans- home, LAP/ SME, car, tractor, two-wheeler, truck loans, etc - Track the regulatory developments in the financial sector - Develop presentations and research reports targeted at issuers, investors and merchant bankers - Manage relationships with issuers (primarily NBFCs, MFIs, HFCs, and large corporates), investors (primarily Mutual Funds, Banks, Insurance companies and Private Equity players) and intermediaries (such as Investment Banks/ Financial Consultants) - As a member of ICRA's Rating Committee, contribute to assigning credible ratings for structured finance and financial sector entities - Represent ICRA on various internal and external forums - Contribute towards development and improvement of rating methodologies
