Role Purpose: - Ensure correct accounting set up in Policy admin system - Resolve any GL balances and correct any wrong accounting entries - Sign off all financial enhancements in the system - Report to Board audit committee on Key balances - Suggest improvement in the control environment Key Accountability: - Manage control team and provide resolution on accounting issues - Conduct periodic GL review and ensure corrective action - Timely UAT signoff on products and any enhancement impacting financials - Timely and accurate reporting to Board audit committee Educational Qualification: Qualified CA with minimum 9 years- experience if second attempt or minimum 6 years- experience if first attempt Competencies (Knowledge & Skills): - Accounting background in Insurance - Experience in UAT testing environment - Financial controller experience - Knowledge of SAP
