ICICI Lombard - Manager - Weather Underwriting

General Description of the Job :

As an underwriter in the Weather Insurance team, the individual would be primarily involved in the pricing of Weather Insurance and Crop Insurance products and quote for different State Government tenders or Corporate clients. The individual should hold prior understanding of this sector and preferably would have worked in the same. Understanding of agriculture sector would be an added advantage

Role & Responsibilities :

- Pricing of Weather and Crop Insurance products for Government schemes and Corporate clients

- Coordinating with the sales team, claims team and vendors for successful implementation of the insurance policies being handled

- Coordinating with IT, compliance, legal and actuarial functions

- Tracking competition trends and managing pricing audits

- Involved in Portfolio Management and PML analysis

- Attending meetings with State Government officials, vendors, etc

- Maintaining and publishing various MIS reports

Education Requirements/ Skills :

Educational Requirements : MBA or CA with agriculture background. Any additional qualification in Insurance would be an added advantage.

Experience : 3 - 4 years, preferably in Insurance/Agriculture sector

Skill sets : Proficient in MS - Excel. Knowledge on Macros would be an added advantage.
