General Description of the Job

Value Added Services (VAS) Functional Group has the following objectives:

1. To differentiate umbrella of offerings in the market

2. Drive downstream insurance business

3. Create stickiness with the end client

4. Establish VAS as a revenue stream for organisation.

The following are the areas of VAS currently being offered to end client:

- Marine : Supply Chain 360 degree management, Program management of logistics risk including contractual and legal risks, Risk mitigation solutions, Risk optimization solutions

- Property: 360 degree HSE solutions, Program management of fire and safety risks, Risk mitigation solutions, Risk optimization solutions

- Health: Wellness solutions, Green Channel solution

Apart from deep understanding of the risk area, and the industry fundamentals behind it, this practice would liaison with internal groups like underwriting and claims along with sales groups. The practice encompasses an entrepreneur spirit and requires working on various areas like sales, marketing, solution design and development, coordinating across internal groups and business development.

Role & Responsibilities

- Business development and sales of VAS

- Solution design and Go-To Market strategy

- Creating Data models along industries – creating risk mitigation models along the frequency/ severity curves with internal and external stakeholders

- Data analysis of various claims and losses occurred historically to understand patterns and forecast risk solutions

- Management reporting and presentations for VAS

Education Requirements

- MBA from a reputed institute

- 8– 10 years of work experience

- Program management, risk management and strategy / consulting background

- Being a part of internal risk control groups would be given added credits
