ICICI Bank - Team Lead - Data Science & Analytics Group

ICICI Bank, Data Science and Analytics (DSAG) team facilitates various data driven business decisions, performance reporting, product design and process innovations. The team also acts as custodian of customer information and focuses on enabling various customer facing decisions that enhance the core operating profits for the Bank.

Team Leads with DSAG lead teams that work with various internal and external data sources in the Bank to work on data processing, data analytics and data mining projects.

The various project areas include improving customer acquisition initiatives, portfolio management initiatives, enabling strong risk management and delivering superior customer service. In addition, the team works on a number of projects that enable higher employee productivity.

Responsibilities:

- Provide end to end analytical support for the given business lines with an objective of increasing campaign revenue/marketing efficiencies/customer value or improving risk management

- Build predictive models / behavioral segments / event triggers for xsell / activation / retention / attrition control models to enhance core operating profits

- Responsible for analysis of the portfolio through detailed analysis to drive Lead identification, Credit Policies/Pricing strategies/Portfolio Management Strategies

- Using statistical tools to interpret data sets, paying particular attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for getting insights that can be used for developing business strategies

- Work with business/functional stakeholders to understand objective/problem statement, generate hypothesis to solve the objective/problem, and run data driven analysis to validate the same

- Regular interaction with business/product/functional teams

- Building analytics capabilities of the team and managing projects to ensure timely deliveries

Experience and skills:

- Strong analytical (numeric and logical) skills

- Reasonable comfort level with learning and using new software solutions and programming languages. Experience with quantitative tools is desirable (e.g. R, Python, SQL).

- Staying in touch with latest trends in Analytics and Big Data tools/ technologies to implement such solutions in the Bank.

- Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and make clear and effective documents, presentations.

- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
