Background: ICICI Bank ETRG offers trade services to customers engaged in exports and imports.Subject Matter Expert will be mapped to respective zones for managing and driving Service Excellence for increased flows and Compliance Closures for the zone. The SME will be a single point of contact for the zone for Service and Compliance queries and requirements including customer escalations, coordination with the field teams for regulatory (ED/RBI) responses, regulatory reporting & for IAD queries.

Purpose of the Job: The position will be responsible for Service and Compliance deliverables, customer and employee insights for process improvement, handling key projects for overall improvement in trade business . It would also include monitoring & bringing down overdue compliance i.e. Export Bills, Bill of Entry, FDI, ODI and improvement in service parameters i.e Rework, Customer feedback &TAT

Key deliverables:

- Customer and employee insights for process improvement

- Closure of overdue compliances & ensuring nil incremental overdue trade compliance:

a. Pending export bills

b. Pending FCGPR & ARF, Pending APR, ODI I

c. Overdue BOEs

- Coordinating for closure of responses for submission to regulator/ED for trade queries

- Monitoring key transactions of the branches in the zones :

a. Branch Notification queues

b. Pending inward remittances

c. BG invocation & invocation rejections

d. Incorrect BOE, IE Code updation

e. Due date monitoring - LC/Buyers credit/PCFC/LCBD due dates

- Closure of overdue deviations taken for transaction processing

- Sample testing of high risk transactions

- Closure of IAD queries

- Hand holding branches in closing exceptional cases

- Approve transactions level exceptions

- Hand holding & training of new TDO's

- Conducting weekly training (on call/classroom) on assigned subjects

- Identify person specific training needs to reduce NSTP below 2%

- Ensuring >90% transactions get processed within 5 hours

- Handle trade related customer escalations & provide resolution

- Migration of customers to digital channel - TOL

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Candidates hall have experience of working in Trade (Exports, Imports, FDI/ODI) products & familiarity with banking processes

- Candidate shall have excellent collaboration skills to engage meaning fully with stakeholders such as Operations, Compliance, Legal, Branches, sales team

- Candidates hall have excellent analytical skills with proficiency in MS excel & PowerPoint

- Eagerness to develop & work on service enablers for improving / streamlining products and processes helping sales team in achieving their targets

- Confident with strong interpersonal & communication skills

- Self-driven with eagerness to deliver projects & assignments within timelines
