About ICC:

The India Climate Collaborative (ICC) is a first of its kind, India-led and India-focused collaborative platform to drive climate change action in the philanthropy and CSR communities. The ICC is currently steered by an organising committee that includes Mahindra CSR, Azim Premji Philanthropic Initiatives, Rohini Nilekani Philanthropies, and Tata Trusts.

The ICC staff will work closely with the senior management from all four organisations, as well as other supporting members like Oak Foundation and MacArthur Foundation. The staff will work hand-in-hand with a team at Dalberg Advisors, who currently act as the interim secretariat for the collaboration.

About the role:

ICC is looking to hire a full-time consultant who will help streamline the knowledge management practices in the organisation. This person will report to the Program Director and should have a keen interest or an understanding of climate change. You will also be working with a lot of external stakeholders in this role and help curate content according to their needs.

- This role is a full-time position as a consultant.

Roles and Responsibilities:

i) Overlook the curation and documentation of information in the organization.

ii) Work closely with ICC's leadership team and with other stakeholders like think-tanks to create new and aggregate existing content

iii) Provide thought leadership and sound business judgment to drive the team's research and analysis

iv) Take responsibility for assigning work streams; monitor and balance workloads

v) Ensure timely, high quality, zero-defect research, analysis and output produced by the analysts

vi) Work with analysts to develop presentation materials and other products like newsletters that help to gather, synthesize and convey valuable information to key audiences.


i) Bachelor's degree required, preferably in environmental sciences, economics or public policy.

ii) 7-10 years of experience in research, writing, strategy consulting, program management and relationship management

iii) Experience working with a broad range of clients and stakeholders

iv) Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills

v) Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to present information in an insightful and structured manner

vi) Willingness to travel


i) Previous experience on researching topics of sustainability, climate change, public policy
