Position Summary:

- Prepare, analyse and report financial and non-financial performance of Circle. Provide the right set of information for management to facilitate decision making.

Preferred Qualification & Experience: Qualified Chartered Accountant with 12-18 yrs. of equivalent and relevant experience post qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Finance:

- Preparation, monitoring & submission of Business plans and monthly P&L forecast.

- Monitoring of key statistics through monthly MIS reports, variance analysis, critical KPIs.

- Preparation of Annual Operating Plan basis underlying growth, Market data, Competition benchmarking, discussion with the key stake holders.

- Identification of process weaknesses, control gaps and risks and suggesting key process improvements to the higher management to eliminate risks & control gaps.

- Responsible for validation of various Business cases - OPEX / CAPEX approvals

- Monitoring product wise / segment wise / region wise performance.

- Drive path to profitability for the business by reducing the costs and eliminating any inefficiencies.

- Ensuring reporting to Corporate for all kind of weekly / monthly /quarterly / ad hoc reports.

- Conduct monthly cost governance meeting to improve acquisition, optimise spend and manage

Accounting:

- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, in compliance with accounting standards.

- General Ledger Management: Oversee and manage the general ledger, ensuring proper recording of all financial transactions and maintaining accuracy.

- Expense Management: Monitor and control expenses, review cost reports, and analyze spending patterns to identify cost-saving opportunities.

- Compliance and Regulatory Reporting: Ensure compliance with accounting regulations, tax laws, and other financial reporting requirements. Prepare and submit necessary reports to regulatory authorities.

- Internal Controls: Implement and monitor internal control procedures to safeguard company assets, prevent fraud, and ensure financial integrity.

- Audit Coordination: Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process, providing necessary documentation and addressing audit inquiries.

- Fixed Asset Management: Maintain accurate records of fixed assets, oversee depreciation calculations, and conduct periodic physical audits to verify asset existence.

- Expense Approval and Validation: Validate and approve OPEX and CAPEX expenditures, ensuring alignment with the budget and strategic objectives.

Auditing:

- Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments to identify potential areas of financial risk and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.

- Process Audits: Perform regular audits of financial processes to identify weaknesses, control gaps, and opportunities for improvement.

- Audit Trail Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of financial transactions, ensuring a clear audit trail for all entries and adjustments.

- Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement process improvements based on audit findings to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in financial operations.

- Inventory Auditing: Conduct regular audits of inventory to ensure accuracy, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.

- Revenue Recognition: Ensure accurate and compliant revenue recognition practices, especially in alignment with industry standards and company policies.

- Vendor Audits: Periodically audit vendor accounts, reviewing invoices, contracts, and payment terms to ensure accuracy and adherence to contractual obligations.

- Compliance Monitoring: Regularly monitor and enforce compliance with internal financial policies and procedures, initiating corrective actions when necessary

- Contract negotiations and vendor management.

- Good communication skills and ability to interact with senior Leadership.
