This is a category management role responsible for improving sales and customer service.
Key roles and responsibilities:
- Continuously refine assortment for existing and new products.
- Ensure availability of stocks at stores at all points of time, with inventory under check
- Build relationships with vendors to increase sales and profitability (Margins/Credit/Returns/RTV/Promotions/Visibility/Promoters)
- Drive display changes at store as and when required
- Help stores in closing Customer Orders, for stock/price changes, if required
- Competition Benchmarking
- Analytical skills with high degree of comfort with Excel for decision making on day-to-day basis.
- Potential to collaborate with store teams & cross-functions to achieve deliverables for the category.
- Is fungible and has the capability to quickly learn and adapt to new challenges.
- Should have used MS Word, Power Point at work.
