Position Title : Equipment Coordinator-

Position Summary :
To participate on a day-to-day basis towards detail job planning, the provision of advice on equipment requests from end-user & Managers.
Principal Accountabilities :
- To implement and participate on a day-to-day basis towards detail job planning on every job.
- Organize resources for procurement process, the assessment and prioritization of submissions for capital equipment, taking into account safety issues, pre-installation, space allocation, etc.
- To present and uphold a professional image to all employees and clients.
- Evaluation of the effectiveness, prudence and adequacy of resources and support (procurement budget, specification, quantity, delivery terms etc).
- Ensure that the range of product supply options has been explored and that equipment costs identified are complete, reasonable and aligned with related purchases.
- Ensure adherence to HMC purchasing policies and standards.
- Provide advice on best practice in the purchase, supply, installation and operation of Hospital equipment resources so as to minimize the cost.
- Technically evaluate medical equipment tenders documents if necessary in liaison with the MEP team members & end-user, and ensure safety and compliance that machine is procured in its entirety meeting operational requirements
- To attend meetings with all key personnel to discuss that day's performance, a detailed plan for the next day's performance, to update the job plan and discuss Safety, Quality, and any new ideas that may make the job go better
- Prepares and review reports and recommendations on project activities, or as assigned.
- Attend project progress meetings including technical meetings and also follow-up pending and approvals submitted by the vendor and consultant HMC.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience :
Minimum Education : 3 yrs Diploma in Biomedical /Electronics or equivalent.
Preferred Education : Bachelor degree in Biomedical /Electronics or equivalent.
Minimum Experience : 4 years
Preferred Experience : +7 years work experience in handling of Hospital Medical Equipment or Hospital Engineering Computerized Maintenance Management System is preferred.
Skills :
Computer Skills: A course in personal computer software
Required Certification/ Licensure/ Registration: Preferred PMP
Language Skills : Fluent in English.
