IBM - Practice Leader - Record To Report - Finance Domain - SME/GPO/Capability/Transformation/Solutions

Your Role and Responsibilities:

- The main responsibility of the R2R Subject Matter Expert is to support the BPO organization end-to-end where R2R process expertise is required.

- During the solutioning phase the R2R SME will drive process related activities such as: to be process design, SLA establishment, tool gap assessment, assist in client orals and solution reviews.

- During the transition phase, the R2R SME will drive process related activities such as: creation of to-be process maps, creation of DTPs, establishment of SLA baselines, and configuration of tools and establishment of operational headlights reporting.

- The R2R SME will leverage established standards throughout the E2E engagement cycle.

- In addition to the above responsibilities, the R2R SME will also act as expert/champion for one or more R2R sub processes on behalf of the global R2R process team. In this capacity, the SME will own the assigned sub process, including maintenance of the Blue Book, standard process maps, procedures, tools, controls, reporting, training and establishment of improvements/best practices.

- Finally, the SME will, as part of the extended R2R Process team be involved in TVC/ABC analysis, benchmarking, maturity modelling and required delivery support.

- Demonstrated experience in the RTR, PTP & OTC domains across multiple industries. Perform the domain expert role through the deal cycle including innovative solutions, process design, transition and delivery transformation. Establish/engage in RTR, PTP & OTC components of benchmarks, transformation roadmaps, process innovation, best practices, tools deployment, process mapping, maturity and industry specific models. Strong consultative selling, client engagement, interpersonal and analytical skills

Required Technical Expertise:

- Experience of 10+ years of experience in Finance domain and preferably in a BPO environment

- Validated skills and experience in handling various aspects of Record to Report

- Prior Exposure in having implement ERP or oracle tools in F&A environment

- Ability to exponent and engage multiple customers across the globe and handle critical issues

- Focus on implementation - essential for delivery as per SLAs/ SOW

Preferred Technical Expertise:

- A Chartered Accountant or master's in business administration-Finance

- Proven experience in end-to-end Record to Report process. In depth process knowledge in central finance reporting, management reporting and reports

- Ability to influence people internal/external customers, Operations and Finance partners

- Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work

- Intuitive individual with an ability to manage change and proven time management

- Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

- Up-to-date technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications
