IBM - Practice Leader - Big Data - Hadoop

Role :

Big Data- Hadoop Practice Lead is responsible for providing thought-leadership for accelerated growth of the Big Data practice. S/he works with industry experts, sales team and clients to understand industry trends and prepare India CIC to provide leadership in Big Data Analytics space.

Role Responsibilities:

- Creating differentiated Practices in the area of Big Data Analytics

- Building Big Data Capability and Capacity for IBM CIC India.

- Working with the delivery organization, creating innovative Solutions, Assets, Accelerators and IPs

- Helping Solution Design involving Big Data technologies.

- Partnering with Geo's to support in solutioning of new client deals

- Providing Subject Matter Expertise in Big Data, Hadoop, and related platforms and technologies

- Leading Client Briefing, Executive Briefing on IBM's capabilities on Big Data product and technology and solutions.

- Creating big data use cases for various industries and business problems

- Building the pool of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) through hiring and internal tannings on Big Data.

- Providing technical oversight and mentoring to the team

- Develop / mature PM&T

- Develop Data Lake solutions for diverse industries

- Participate in sales and pursuits focused on our clients' business needs.

Qualifications:

- Prior Practice Management experience

- Should be able to articulate business/technology trends/POV in the Big Data space

- Hands on experience with Big Data Hadoop technologies such as MapReduce, Pig, Hive, HBase, Flume and NoSQL platforms such as Hbase, MongoDB, Cassandra

- Should have exposure to multiple Hadoop platforms

- Deep first-hand experience building enterprise data warehousing / business intelligence solutions and in-depth knowledge of related concepts.
