Position : Digital Marketing Leader (A functional manager)

Location : Bangalore

Years of experience : 14- 18

Requirements of Digital Leader :

- Looking for candidates with the listed Agency's: Lintas, Havas, Tribal, Genesis Burson Martseller, Lexicon, Concept, Perfect Relations, Six Degrees, Pressman etc..

- Possess cross-practice digital marketing skills (email, social, paid media, search) and understanding of an end-to-end marketing process

- Proven ability to oversee the execution of an integrated marketing experience and influence the program planning process, including development of business case for investment in localized digital tactics

- Demonstrated experience in driving business results and selling to a transaction; responsibility and accountability for operationalizing digital funnel performance

- Strategic understanding of how to define audiences and size applicable markets when developing program components

- Experience in managing to metrics, reporting on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and knowledge of how direct targeting impacts results of digital and direct programs

- A trusted consultant's presence - ability to: educate, enable and motivate teams; gain respect of peers / leadership as a Subject Matter Expert (SME); listen, engage, and influence

Characteristics of Digital Leader :

- Be able to practically apply digital techniques to the marketing funnel and sales pipeline

- Have a focus on enabling others (so they don't become the sole 'doer' or 'all things digital' - we need the whole team to be 'digital doers')

- Be very consultative and collaborative across the business, because digital intersects in so many ways with traditional marketing efforts

- Evangelize digital imperatives and be able to credibly interact with and coach those IBM leaders who aren't digital natives

The Digital Marketer needs to know how to :

- Optimize the investment and yield from organic search

- Create email promotions (ie in a direct marketing paradigm)

- Do customer journey mapping on websites (ie optimizing navigation and architecture) - to engage them to go further

- To optimize the engagement with web content (ie create more and deeper click through)

- Architect, optimize and manage social properties (eg Twitter, Facebook, Linked etc)

- To create virtual events using social media

- Craft campaigns which accommodate different web access technologies (esp mobile)

- Operate successfully in a geo - demonstrate knowledge of and sensitive to cultural differences, differing digital consumption between countries, knowledge of different languages, and differing legislation governing digital marketing

- Conduct multi-variant testing (ie controlled tests where one variable in the message or media mix is changed), in the campaign to work with agility to continuously optimize campaign performance.
