Product Manager

Synopsis:

We are looking for multi-skilled candidates with excellent interpersonal skills for the position of Product Manager. Product Managers improve customer experiences, generate new product ideas, and outline detailed product strategies, among other duties. Product Managers will need to manage diverse teams spanning engineering and marketing, requiring both a strong technical background and excellent interpersonal skills.

A Day in your life

Strategy & Planning:

- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities.

- Define the product vision and roadmap, outlining goals and how to achieve them.

- Prioritize features and functionality based on user needs and business objectives.

User Research & Advocacy:

- Understand user needs and pain points through research methods like surveys, interviews, and user testing.

- Be the voice of the user within the company, ensuring their needs are considered throughout the development process.

- Translate user insights into actionable product requirements.

Communication & Collaboration:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams like engineering, design, marketing, and sales to bring the product to life.

- Effectively communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to all stakeholders.

- Gather feedback from various stakeholders and incorporate it into the product development process.

Execution & Analysis:

- Work with engineers to define product specifications and user stories.

- Track product performance using metrics and analytics to measure success.

- Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and iterate on the product based on learnings.

Skills in the spotlight:

- Critical Thinking & Analytical Skills: Analyze data to identify trends, make data-driven decisions, and solve complex problems.

- Product Management Tools: Be familiar with project management tools, user research tools, and product analytics tools.

- Technical Skills (Depending on the role): Understanding of software development (Jira/ Scrum methodologies, Api tools, Sprint review, retrospective)
