PMO (Project Management Office) Manager

Flexible Packaging India

Reporting - Managing Director

Position Summary:

The PMO Manager is responsible for the project management of key strategic projects and programs in Flexible Packaging India as assigned by the Managing Director, India. PMO Manager guides and coordinates the assigned ongoing projects, programs and change initiatives in line with the Huhtamaki's vision and strategy to help India Transformation. He/she provides administrative support for the project teams and standardizes the project-related management processes. PMO Manager ensures that projects under his/her governance are proceeding in the right way, on time, and on budget and are delivering the expected return on investments and added value to stakeholders.

Working Relations: The PMO Managers works closely with the Managing Director (India), and other leadership members based on assigned projects and Global Transformation Management Office teams.

Role & Responsibilities:

- The below mentioned tasks and activities are indicative by nature. Other tasks and responsibilities may be added to the activities at any time-based business requirements and the skills, competencies and the professionality of the position holder.

- All tasks/duties need to be completed whilst adhering to the Huhtamaki Values.

- Manage all ongoing projects and programs under their governance

- Overseeing project development; collaborating with other leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects, providing guidance and key metrics

- Facilitate project planning: including setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and assigning team members to various deliverables

- Facilitate the governance process

- Facilitate the change control process

- Analyzing financial data, including project budgets, risks, and resource allocation.

- Providing financial reports and budget outlines,

- Modify processes and organize workstreams,

- Ensure that documentation is correct and up to date,

- Continuously evaluating projects to ensure they are meeting Huhtamaki standards, adhering to budgets, and meeting deadlines.

- Collaborate with other functional leaders and countries

- Project and program documentation: project's creation, development, and execution as well as documenting the project's scope, budget, and justification

- Drafting new and improving existing project management standards and processes

- Mentor project managers and stream leaders as required, provide guidance on PMO policies and processes.

- Act as a link between functions and countries involved in projects

- Ensure project management standards are applied across an organization

- Ensure that a professional and responsible image is presented in all internal dealings within the Huhtamaki Group

- Ensure that Huhtamaki code of conduct, values, ethical standards and legal compliance is followed and adhered to across whole organization and in all activities.

Professional experience:

- Bachelor/Master's degree in business, Administration, or a related field,

- Wide knowledge of project and change management, project management certification may be advantageous

- Extensive knowledge of the use of different tools

- Proven track record of successful project management or PMO manager roles

- Experience from managing multi-country projects, in matrix organizations

- Financial knowledge
