Position - Head of Quality and Technical

Role Summary - To Lead the Quality and Technical Support for Flexibles and Cylinders Vertical for India Business.

- Should have a clear cut vision to have continually improving quality across the 'product and service 'to claim the ' Best-in-Class' and be a preferred packaging supplier for Food packaging.

- Should be able to lead a team of senior quality and technical experts in plants to execute the Quality Improvement Strategy towards Customer satisfaction.

- Lead the QA function and be the face to the customer on quality attributes of the products.

- Allocate capable and competent resource and create a lean organisation structure to aid quality measurement and assurance at tactical level.

- Lead the WCO on Quality Pillar implementation and take it to maturity.

- To implement various ' World-Class' Systems to eliminate the defects at all stages in the process thus requiring minimal manual checks in between physical processes.

- Work on various technical aspects related to product, process, machinery and methods to improve continuously the quality characteristics and reduce the Defect rates to near ZERO.

- To work with technical experts to conform to Food Packaging Regulatory compliances and hence needs to have ion dept knowledge on various standards on Packaging and its ingredients for Food.

- Work on ever evolving standards and certificates of Quality, Hygiene in packaging, Safety and various quality assurance certifications standards to be able to derive the best to apply in our day to day processes.

Qualifications : Graduate/ Postgraduate/ Doctorate in Chemical, Polymers Engineering, Chemistry background.

Experience : 20-22 years in field of Plastics, print & packaging, Polymer processing managing Quality Assurance, Technical Troubleshooting and having in depth knowledge of packaging science.
