I. Lead Business
1. Strategy
i. As a part of Senior Management, provide strategic direction to the organization on its short & long term plans
ii. Translate business vision and strategy into operational initiatives & tactics
iii. Design & Execute strategy to create sustained market leadership & profitability in line with Annualized Operating Plan (AOP)
iv. Maintain market vigilance with respect to competition strategy and influence changes in strategy, if required
v. Envisage & Deploy strategies for new product launches
2. Business Operations
i. Budget, Deliver & Manage key P&L metrics (Gross Revenue, Sales & Distribution Expenses/Budgets etc.) for the Hub
ii. Build the organizational support and infrastructure needed to achieve business objectives
iii. Periodic review of performance outliers through root cause analysis and action planning
iv. Enable & Implement efficient supply chain strategy to create sustainable partner ROI models
v. Implementation & Adherence of processes and policies to drive excellence in distribution and retail
II. Lead People
1. Role Model
i. Engage & Empower team members by aligning them to the overall organization strategy and action plan
ii. Provide effectual leadership to a team of 300+ Field Sales & 2000+ Customer Consultants
iii. Inspire people for values driven conduct & build positive morale
2. Capability Development
i. Enhance capability of team through coaching and mentoring
ii. Enable people to adapt to changes arising out of new strategies
iii. Ensure the team is trained on latest processes & policies, product, lava IT systems & soft skills
Key Characteristics of the Incumbent:
i. MBA from Tier 1 campus with atleast 10-12 years of experience
ii. Competent in developing vision into strategic roadmap and should have the ability to view the business holistically
iii. Strong business acumen with strong process orientation and excellent strategic thinking skills as well as execution skills
iv. Entrepreneurial in spirit and can challenge status quo
v. Excellent interpersonal skills and strong influencing skills
vi. Ability to think strategically & prefers structural approach
vii. A thought leader with ability to deal with ambiguity and uncertainties
viii. Demonstrates personal drive to learn and evolve
ix. Excited to invest himself in solving large problems
x. Self-starter, persistent in approach & not deterred by failures
