Key Objectives :
- Take responsibility for the whole sales process, from ideation to pitching via constructive story telling.
- Understanding the customer landscape by on-going client communications, business development or market research and providing solutions that leverage HT Media's digital offering
- Devising several innovative approaches that use HT Media's digital properties for customer branding and advertising solutions.
- Driving digital business solutions adoptions among clients with HT Media's core digital assets and partner solutions
- Creating co-branded digital properties for HT Media's customer to service their business needs
- Providing cross-industry subject matter expertise and relevant industry solutions.
- Pro-actively identifying opportunities for growth, improvement or co-created solutions with robust story telling.
- Understanding the key objectives of the client/industry and proposing relevant solves via robust storytelling to garner maximized revenues.
- To be responsible for delivering the revenues by generating revenue/sponsorship/partnership for the client via various platforms/products under HT Media group.
- Developing professional and profitable relationships with clients, media, agencies.
- Secure long term forecast revenues via digital propositions, brand solutions, events and digital 1st products such as Audience, Display innovations, IPs, contextual selling, productized solutions, etc.
- Work as key member of team to secure meetings and close deals with brands across all areas of digital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Main focus is on generating revenue through brand partnerships via relevant propositions and robust story telling.
- Identify a strong pipeline of key clients and sales opportunities in order to, maximize revenue through building relationships with clients, agencies via proactive ideas as well as basis requirements of the clients.
- Maintain database with latest client campaigns/industry happenings and competitor activity
- Research and analyse data to build up relevant insights to identify opportunities.
- Through creative planning develop tailor made programmes from scratch
- Develop in depth knowledge of prospective partners' sectors through rigorous research and insight and therefore putting the right story in front of the right brands
- Produce imaginative and creative content for all presentations with robust story telling.
- Develop presentations and follow-up proposals
- Research leads and maintain up to date information regarding the latest client campaigns and competitor activity
- Liaise with relevant departments (e.g. marketing, events, products) to maximise revenue and customer experience.
- Demonstrate strong organisational skills with an excellent attention to detail
Skills & Experience Required:
- Have relevant sales and brand solutions experience of 6years+ with new business, strategic selling and presentation skills.
- A genuine understanding of marketing/ advertising/ promotions/ media/ events/ experiential, who has the ability to listen to a brand, understand their challenges and provide them with an appealing mix of solutions.
- Research and insights experience with outstanding analytical and strategic planning skills.
- Able to build a network with clients, able to open doors at the right level.
- Highly articulate with excellent communication and presentation skills and an inquisitive mind.
- Proven excellent negotiation/networking skills.
- Flexibility and willingness to embrace change and new opportunities.
- Team player, maintaining close working relationships with team and other employees to achieve targets.
- Computer literate in Microsoft programs: Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Adobe
- Preferable - From agency/media publisher background.
- Having experience across other media such as Print, Radio is added advantage.
