HT Media - Online Marketing Manager (4-7 yrs) - Performance Marketing
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of people directly involved in performance advertising and marketing analytics.
- Ownership of the overall traffic delivery, user acquisitions and user engagement across the major line of businesses.Strategize, plan and execute online marketing campaigns to drive customer acquisition through a variety of paid media channels such as search engine marketing, display advertising (including social media), Email Marketing, affiliates, and Re-marketing.
- Manage partnership with strategic industry partners: Google, Yahoo, Facebook, etc.
- Increase retention rate using customized email marketing, SMS marketing, and push notification.
- Improve the user experience and conversion funnel
- Ideate innovative ways of reaching target audience or meet defined marketing objectives.
- Create and maintain project plans to update internal stakeholder on the status of individual channel performance, issues and opportunities.
- Ensure all campaigns adhering to best practices. Gathering and maintaining competition information.
- Stay on top of current search engine news, trends, SEM practices, and emerging items of interest and sharing these with the team.
- Work with teams across functions (such as Product, Analytics, Sales, Engineering, Design etc.) in evaluating and implementing optimal marketing automation solutions from time to time
- Implement and monitor tracking and reporting on KPIs across digital campaigns.
Requirements:
- Graduate/ post graduate with at least 4 years of experience in SEM/PPC and Email Marketing.
- Candidate should have excellent knowledge of online advertising channels, standard industry metrics, channel best practices and lead generation business models
- A highly results-oriented, articulate, decisive, self-starter who energizes people around him/her
- Strong analytical skills and experience with business modeling
- Solid understanding of paid search platforms interface, algorithm, campaign management, campaign optimization, and strategies.
- Ability to solve problems creatively in a fast-paced environment; take initiative to achieve results; meet short deadlines; and maintain a positive attitude
- Excellent computer skills in MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint).
- Excellent verbal, written and presentations skills
- Strong data analysis skill, able to decipher complex data and numbers to draw inferences, trends and insights.
