Job Responsibilities:
The main areas of responsibilities for this role are detailed under:
Deliver on Sales Targets:
- Adhere to the sales policies and procedures for centre in collaboration
- Innovate and suggest local sales promotion activities within budget
- Grow and sustain advertisement & sales revenue by focusing on educational clients (colleges & universities)
Customer Account Management:
- Identify and acquire clients relevant with our product offerings.
- Build alliances with educational clients/institutions.
- Provide inputs in the development of sales pitches and proposals.
- Track and facilitate the process of credit collections.
Business Development:
- Continuously collate competitive data for business intelligence and monitor competitive offerings and give their inputs to help reposition/ redesign/ introduce offerings.
- Identify new and prospective customers, initiate and develop alternative sources of content to increase business
Functional Skills:
- Sound sales and operations knowledge and experience in the educational portal
Competencies:
- Customer Relationship Management and Negotiation Skills
- Analytical skills for analyzing products, customers and market dynamics.
- Focus and ability to achieve competitive revenue targets.
- Ability to prioritize competing demands.
- Self Driven and ability to take decisions on their own
Others:
- Experience of working in the education portal is essential
- Ideally should have handled educational clients and institutions
- Flair for taking up responsibilities independently.
- Proactive initiative taker
Experience: 3-6 years in educational sales, only internet or print media.
Education: MBA/PGDM
