1. Financial Control & Compliance - Responsible for driving development, implementation and adherence of all financial and accounting policies & procedures for the Digital business in compliance with the applicable financial and accounting standards. - Ensure compliance with local, state and statutory rules, regulations, tax and reporting requirements like GST, TDS, Service Tax (past assessments). - Ensuring all audit and compliance are in line and the preparation of the annual financial statements is in accordance with principles of accounting. Ensure positive rating in Internal Audits, Internal dip stick on ICFR, good rating on the external ICFR audits and Statutory audit compliances. - Monitor cash flows to ensure healthy liquidity and short and long term availability of the fund requirement for growth, take necessary measures to ensure availability of working capital. - Lead in all business rejig activity like M&A, Demerger, Slump sale by providing leadership in accounting and compliance mandates from Ind AS and the Companies act 2. Regulatory & Compliance - Assist central Secretarial function in compliances towards Board requirements, NFAs for related party approvals, identification of matters to be placed to Board and also ensure Corporate Governance and control environment. - Ensure compliance with local, state and central laws including GAAP - Ensure compliance to local revenue laws Direct & Indirect (Income tax, GST) 3. Commercial - Drive cost control initiatives and enforce budget control in operative back end systems to improve cost efficiencies - Work with the stakeholders to ensure programmatic success through cost analysis support, and compliance with all contractual and programmatic requirements - Strengthen F&A team that helps provide seamless and timely support to the business - Good understanding of trade sales, discounting, pricing and reconciliation 4. Management Reporting - Oversight of strong MIS function to ensure timely and relevant financial analysis is provided to the management team in areas of Revenue, Cost, Operating margins and competitive benchmarking (as feasible). - Provide support in the MIS and Budgeting activities. - Ensure accuracy of investor brief and documents provided for Board Meetings - Provide timely and relevant financial analysis to the management team. 5. Prior Role (s)/ Work Experience Preferred detailed information about the required background - Well versed with accounting standards and curriculum on CA - Excellent communication skills & adaptability - Possess good leadership, analytical and interpersonal skills - Immediately available or 10 days Notice Period preferred
