JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Community Manager, you will build, grow, manage, and engage with the brands target communities. Using analytics tools to monitor social media outlets, online forums, and blogs, a community manager will find out what people are saying about a company or brand. A community manager will also engage with customers and fans and uses social media and live events to help increase brand loyalty. You should be a people person with great customer service skills and the ability to moderate online and offline conversations with the community. You must be proactive, creative, flexible, resilient, and able to handle high levels of ambiguity.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set, plan and implement social media and communication campaigns and strategies
- Provide engaging text, image, and video content for all social media and professional accounts.
- Respond to customers in a timely manner
- Monitor, track, and report on feedback and online reviews
- Organize and manage events to boost brand awareness
- Coordinate with Marketing and Sales teams on brand priorities.
- Build relationships with customers, industry professionals to engage the community
- Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree
- 4+ years experience in a community marketing role
- Experience working in a collaborative team environment to delivering the result
- Proven work experience as a community manager or similar role
- Experience planning and leading community initiatives
- Ability to identify and track relevant community KPIs
- Excellent interpersonal and presentations skills
- Hands-on experience with social media management
- Ability to interpret website traffic
- Knowledge of online marketing
- Attention to detail, critical-thinker, and problem-solver
- Work in the education sector would be a preference
- Proven ability to influence and communicate effectively with senior executive
- Experience launching and/or directly managing social accounts with large/passionate social followers
- Track record of driving adoption of new ideas and concepts, and pioneering new approaches within their team or company
- Creative thinker with a passion for developing and delivering big ideas for our customers
- Thinks strategically but stays on top of tactical execution
- Extreme attention to detail with relentlessly high standard
- Innate willingness to roll up your sleeves
- Exceptional verbal and written skills
