Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and strategic Brand & PR Lead to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive brand strategy that elevates our company's image and drives positive results. You will also manage all public relations activities, including media relations & crisis communications.
Responsibilities:
Brand Strategy:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive brand strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Conduct ongoing brand audits to monitor brand perception and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Manage and evolve the brand identity, including brand messaging, positioning, and visual identity.
- Ensure brand consistency across all communication channels and touchpoints.
Public Relations:
- Develop and implement a strategic public relations plan to build positive brand awareness and increase media coverage.
- Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts, including journalists, bloggers, and influencers.
- Pitch and secure media coverage in relevant publications and outlets.
- Develop and manage press releases, media kits, and other communication materials.
- Organize and manage press events, conferences, and other media initiatives.
- Monitor media coverage and analyze the impact of PR campaigns.
Crisis Communications:
- Develop and implement a crisis communications plan to effectively manage negative publicity and potential reputational risks.
- Monitor social media and online conversations to identify emerging issues.
- Prepare and deliver clear and concise communication to stakeholders during crises.
- Work with internal teams to address and resolve crises.
Other :
- Develop and manage the PR budget.
- Stay up to date on the latest trends and developments in the brand and PR industry.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and sales, to achieve common goals.
- Manage various marketing vendors associated with programs that drive growth
- Produce brand & marketing collaterals to achieve the desired result
Qualifications:
- Degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in brand and/or public relations.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful brand and PR strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.
- Experience with influencer marketing is a plus.
