HT Media - AGM - Financial Strategy/Investor Relations

The Team, headed by the Chief Financial Strategist of HT Media, is responsible for

- Creating and executing Financial Strategic initiatives for the Group which involves decisions pertaining to M&A, alliances, JVs, Fund raising and any form of strategic investment/ divestment opportunities.

- Close interaction with the Digital Group for acquiring small stakes (startegic or otherwise). This involves a good understanding of the digital environment.

- Managing activities related to Investor Relations for the group's listed entities (viz HT Media Ltd and Hindustan Media Ventures Ltd), i.e. to remain in touch with HT's disparate businesses and analysis of quarterly/annual results of HTML and HMVL . Accordingly interact with existing and potential investors to communicate group's performance and strategy

Role Overview:

- As a mid-level manager, the individual is expected to display complete ownership and take a lead on various activities pertaining to Financial Strategy and Investor Relations.

- He/ she will report directly to the Chief Financial Strategist and also manage and coach member (s) reporting to him/ her.

- The role also involves liaisoning with other functional teams within the Group, e.g. Business Heads, Legal, Secretarial, Finance & Accounts etc. for succesfuly executing various tasks

Qualification: Preferably Engineer + MBA Finance from a premier institute

Work Experience: 6-9 Years, with atleast 3-4 years experince in M&A/ Corporate Finance
