Description of the Business : Corporate Risk Solutions (CRS) helps the Treasurers and CXO's of large multi-national corporate clients manage exposures to market risks like FX, Rates, Commodities etc., by providing them with hedging strategies tailored to their unique situations. Strategies include, but not limited to, structured and plain vanilla solutions in various capital markets like ECM, DCM, Derivatives markets in particular and corporate finance strategies in general. Thought Leadership team is the analytical engine behind CRS which drives the bank's capital markets revenues. Thought Leadership works alongside Global Banking and Markets originators providing content and expertise to assist in the - Risk Discovery- process. Description of Role : - Build bespoke models to simulate clients- exposures to various market risks a. Value at Risk / Cash Flow at Risk for FX, interest rates, commodities; efficient frontier b. Back-testing of specific hedging strategies c. Stress testing of corporate metrics - Market analysis through corporate finance lens with the objective of arriving at optimal hedging strategy maximizing risk mitigation and minimizing cost - Assessing the impact of various market phenomena that could significantly alter hedging performance - Focus on longer term strategic impacts rather than on short-term market opportunities - Covers both client specific analysis and themes at industry/country/ global level - Comparative analysis of the sensitivity of key metrics for large cap companies across various sectors and/or ratings Description of Responsibilities -&nbsp; - Familiar with both corporate finance and risk models. Aptitude to understand model requirements and assess model outputs for reasonableness - Proven analytical ability and financial modelling skills across at least one of Financial Statements, Industry analysis or Markets Product - Understanding of Global Markets products, specifically FX spot, FX forwards, FX options, money market products, and interest rate swaps - Steer focus to analysis of client situations and problems rather than on product innovation - Connecting ideas, themes and innovation around client across regions to build scale and deepen client solutions - Good knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint is must. Working knowledge of Bloomberg, Reuters preferred - Excellent communication skills to construct coherent recommendations for onshore sales teams - Manage deadlines, escalate issues promptly, and prioritise workload - Flexibility to adapt to UK/US/HK hours Academic/Professional qualifications : - IIT/NIT + MBA from Tier 1 institutions/CFA, FRM, CQF etc Key Skills : - Derivatives, Hedging, Risk management, Market risk, Risk analytics, Risk modelling, M&amp;A, Investment Banking, Risk solutions, Value at Risk, Risk Quant, FX, Rates, Commodities, capital markets, structured finance.
