Role Purpose : The Wholesale Credit &amp; Market Risk, Data Governance Project Manager will be responsible to deliver extensive book of work including compliance with several regulations such as BCBS 239. BCBS 239 is one of the mandatory regulatory commitments which requires strengthened governance, improved data quality and appropriate architecture to improve the quality of our risk management. There are several other initiatives and other regulatory commitments which require coordination across businesses &amp; functions (GF). Responsibility : The Data Governance Project Manager will be responsible for : 1) Managing the engagement with the Data Management Utility (DMU) / Global Risk and Group Data Services to understand requirements, identify and agree activities to fulfil these requirements and track progress to ensure compliance is achieved. 2) Identify and agree milestones which will meet BCBS 239 requirements and create a process to track and report progress 3) Support the engagement across locations, working with Data Governance Leads to ensure a comprehensive understanding of key deliverables, identifying and escalating risks, issues and dependencies as appropriate 4) Execute and manage projects in BFSI Risk and Regulatory space such as BASEL III, Liquidity Risk, Risk Weighted Assets (RWA), Stress Test - CCAR (Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review) 5) Automation of reporting processes - as and when required using requisite tools Education &amp; Experience : - Relevant knowledge of the data related regulations including the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision (BCBS 239) - Extensive background of working in large scale change in data related environment - Post qualification experience of 9 to 12 years, FRM certification is an added advantage - Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with experience in a complex global environment. - Prior experience working on Basel 3, Credit Risk reporting, credit loss models, regulatory submissions is mandatory - Strong communicator with excellent verbal and written skills - Extensive knowledge of Banking systems, data structures and data processes, preferably within Risk
