We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Quantitative Analyst - AVP - Cash Equities - We are looking for an ambitious and enterprising Quantitative Analyst to join our team. - The primary responsibilities will include an end to end analysis &amp; development of quantitative methods to optimize algorithm performance across accepted industry benchmarks. Conduct research on the required subject matter to propose changes to the algo models. - Pre/Post trade analytics (including market microstructure research) for execution algorithms &amp; risk trading. Develop frameworks that allow for monitoring algo conduct, to ensure algorithms adhere to regulatory standards. Coordination with onshore stakeholders to ensure efficient planning and delivery of tasks and end to end collaboration with IT teams to deploy enhancements of the product. Principal responsibilities - Quantitative analysis of algorithmic client order executions - Microstructure research of equity markets - Backtest improvements to existing algorithmic trading strategies - Ad-hoc quantitative research for electronic clients - Alpha modeling for algorithmic trading strategies - Provide analytics that aid business in data driven decision making Requirements : - 5-7 years- experience working within a role focusing of on quantitative analysis preferably in an algorithmic trading product - Graduate/post-grad qualification from a top tier university in applied mathematics or statistics or engineering - Experience in python, Java, C++ or other programming languages - Experience with databases - KDB, other time-series databases - Prior experience in Electronic trading roles both from buy-side or sell-side institution is a plus - Knowledge of equity market microstructure, post-trade analysis of algorithmic executions - Advanced analytical skills including utilization of machine learning to analyze &amp; integrate data and complex models. - Proficient in functional programing with vector based programing languages. - Due to the urgent hiring need, candidates with immediate right to work locally and no relocation need will be prioritised.
