1. Provide subject matter expertise in at least one of the retail lending product areas viz., Unsecured loans, Secured loans, Mortgages, credit cards, small business lending. 2. Drive and oversee Personal Lending growth initiatives across the group 3. Take lead in conducting critical analysis for the portfolio including but not limited to Product/Portfolio Diagnosis, Sherwood Deployment, Credit Policy Review, Market/Product benchmarking etc. 4. Propose modification/redevelopment of strategies as required. 5. Recommend best practices for Originations & Account Management policies and strategies 6. Strong execution and project management skills and ensure timely delivery of projects/analysis 7. Build and nurture a strong relationship with key stakeholders across Group, region and country teams 8. Provide effective coaching/mentoring to the team and play a critical role in team development 9. Participate in regional risk reviews and provide effective oversight and commentary on the portfolio performance 10. Participate in independent reviews of country AOPs 11. Implement a robust portfolio and strategy monitoring and tracking reports. Develop hypotheses about customer behavior and profitable growth scenarios and apply the right mix of qualitative and quantitative research techniques to identify causes and solutions 12. Identify opportunities for standardization of analytical processes to bring in effectiveness and gain efficiency 13. Drive innovation for self and team to deliver incremental business value Skills/Experience Required: - Risk management experience focused primarily on portfolio analytics/strategy building in the Banking & Financial Services Domain. - Excellent Quantitative aptitude - Analytically oriented with an ability to grasp complex risk management strategies, processes, models and draw insights / identify areas of opportunity - Proactive with the ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally - Strong track record of delivering on high value / critical projects. Ability to communicate with senior stakeholders crisply and confidently on findings, status, bottlenecks, and escalations - Ability to work independently, structure analyses and handle multiple priories - Strong knowledge of SAS - Qualified CA, MBA Finance, Masters or Ph. D. degree in either Economics, Statistics, Engineering or any quantitative area
