Data preparation, wrangling, transformation, & manipulation
- Will need to work very often with data files. Need to be very comfortable and capable of working with numbers and multiple large datasets on a daily basis.
- Transform excel HRIS report outputs from clients into a standardized format that is compatible with our core automation solution (using EXCEL, Alteryx, etc); Data wrangling & transformation
- Interpret client raw HRIS files and properly map fields and values to their corresponding Saratoga counterparts
- Ability to independently & accurately apply a set of rules/concepts to different situations that the client data presents
- Organize, track, retrieve data from the Saratoga benchmarking server in support of different types of data-related tasks (via Cyberark, google apps, Saratoga custom user interface, no SQL needed)
- Identify and build connections and links between datasets (client, third party, public, PwC platforms, etc.)
Client & Relationship Management
- Create draft emails intended for clients that contain questions for clients based on an in-depth evaluation of the quality of the client's submitted files
- Ability to perform basic independent research online to research into the background of a company and apply those findings/insights to the construction of custom peer groups
- Assist in monitoring the Saratoga inbox and create draft responses to the client
- Help coordinate call scheduling with clients (HRIS setup calls, renewals, Q&A, data review etc)
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Be able to diligently track activities in a google sheets tracker file; and upload workfiles (even when only partially complete) to the google drive on a daily basis (especially for high-urgency time-sensitive tasks - sometimes requiring a same-day or 24-hr. turnaround)
- Solid command of Alteryx workflows (knowledge of basic functions required; certification would be a plus). Ability to operate & tweak existing Alteryx workflows.
- Fully comfortable working with EXCEL data files and use vlookups, index matches, pivot tables, write basic formulas (nested if statements, etc..)
- Existing experience with a computer programming language would be helpful, as this role will require logic & thinking processes that are very similar to programming (however, this job does not directly involve computer programming)
- Experience working with employee-level HRIS data files would be a plus (familiarity with different types of fields, data values)
