Position name: HR risk Manager

Location : Mumbai

Client : One of the leading MNC Bank

Experience : 8-12 years of total experience (PG/MBA), out of which at least last 4 years in managing operational risk in a multi dimensional environment.

Job responsibility:

- Work closely with the relevant stakeholders across the Group to set up, implement and monitor Group and Country HR Risk and compliance requirements.

- Oversee Risk Management within the HR function in SA. (Act as UORM for the HR function)

- Assist in coordinating, facilitating and promoting understanding of Group / Local operational risk and in implementation and management of OR across HR SA team.

- Work with respective HR teams in monitoring and closing any risks identified as part of the regular internal checks and controls, including audit. Support the teams in compiling action plans for control gaps to ensure timely remediation.

- Provide regular performance metrics / dashboards on HR Risk Management to HR top management.

- Keep abreast of changes in employment legislations and ensure that HR issues are handled in compliance with HR policies, employment legislation and other legislation relevant to HR management.

- Represent region in Global / Regional HR Risk control committee meetings.

- Initiate projects and engage stakeholders, where development, maintenance and ongoing enhancement of process controls is required.

- Roll out regular communication /awareness programs for HR - in relation to Self Assessment, Data Privacy, Mandatory trainings, block leave requirement, etc.

- Conduct Peer reviews and post migration risk reviews for any fresh transition to HRSSC team.

- Co-ordinate with all internal & external audits (including regulatory audits), ensuring excellent internal audit ratings.

SELECTION CRITERIA:

To meet the requirement, candidate should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

- Candidate must have 8-12 years of total experience (PG/MBA), out of which at least last 4 years in managing operational risk in a multi dimensional environment.

- Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and articulative skills to manage difficult conversation with senior stakeholders.

- Knowledge of Risk Management Policies and processes is a plus.

- Project management skills and / or specific course on risk management definitely an added advantage.

- Seasoned professional with a good understanding of Operational, Financial, Regulatory and Reputational risk from HR standpoint.
