- Udhyam Shiksha works on developing entrepreneurial mindsets among the youth and enabling them to achieve their potential, having impacted ~16,00,000 learners across 10 Indian states.

- Udhyam Vyapaar focuses on nano businesses in India, and solving large problems faced by them, at scale; having already enabled upto a 27% income uplift for 5000+ entrepreneurs.

The HR Leader role will play a critical part in further shaping the culture at Udhyam. They will also strengthen it's people & system capabilities to achieve the milestones we have set ahead of us. We aim to build a happy and high performing workplace that people want to work at, in the sector.

Role and Responsibilities

- Oversee all HR requirements for about 100 people in the organisation including

- Recruitment & onboarding,

- Performance experience,

- Learning and Development,

- Employee engagement & recognition

- Build & improve policies, systems & processes for each of the above areas that live our principles & enable achievement of our vision

- Provides support and guidance to the HR team and managers when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise

- Partner with the leadership team to understand, build and execute the organization's talent strategy

- Provide decision support & enable improvements through HR metrics

- Ensure legal compliance in the HR domain

- Manage the Payroll Processing with our payroll partner and HR auditing

Skills, Experience & Mindsets :

- Keen on working in a purpose driven non-profit

- 15 + years of HR experience

- High degree of ownership and a bias for action with willingness to be hands on & frugal

- Ability to work with ambiguity and innovative ideas that challenge the norm

- Experience driving People Systems and processes

- People centric approach to organization building

- Ability to work with multiple teams and manage specific asks and requirements

- An independent thinker and people problems solver, able to navigate uncertainty
