Responsibilities: - Facilitating the immigration and relocation process while working closely with the HR/Recruitment team - Determining under which program a candidate or employee would qualify - Overseeing all aspects of the Visa and Immigration process, ensuring that the process runs smoothly - Taking responsibility to research the appropriate legal documents required for the application process and prepare instruction document lists accordingly - Preparing LMIA, CAQ, NAFTA, CSQ, Permanent Residency, all other program applications or documentation required and visa submissions in collaboration with outside immigration firms - Following -up with employees, HR/Recruitment team, hiring Managers on a regular basis and to remain up to date with any changes to legislation - Training HR/Recruitment colleague and hiring managers to enhance their understanding of immigration rules to help them to fulfil their roles to a high level - Preparing documents for Service Canada audits - Managing transition and benefit plans under the Global Talent Stream and Facilitated program - Improving process efficiencies where possible - Performing administrative tasks such as reporting, analysis, update guidelines, process, track budget, expense report and filing etc. - Participating in special HR projects as required Requirements: - Post-Secondary education with other qualifications relevant to Immigration - 3 to 10 years of experience in a similar position - Organized and detail oriented - Excellent client service and communication skills; ability to interact in a positive manner with a variety of personalities - Must be able to work under tight deadlines and pressure - Passionate about employment and immigration law - Bilingual (French and English) - Microsoft Office proficient What is in Store for You? - Liaise extensively with stakeholders - An opportunity to work with a blue- chip firm in a high visibility role as a part of the leadership team. - Market leading remuneration - A high-performance culture with phenomenal career progression.
