ROLE : HR MANAGER
LOCATION : CHERTHALA , KERALA
REPORTING TO : UNIT HEAD
EXPERIENCE LEVEL - 8-10 YEARS
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED : MBA/MSW in HR would be preferred
Responsible for all training and development activities, compliances, admin, security, contracts, transport, canteen, and other people management activities. Responsible for ensuring employee satisfaction, conflict resolution, grievance handling and supply of man power
- Undertake man power planning to ensure efficient deployment of workers for production
- Supply manpower for current and future needs through recruitment and selection
- Resolve engagement issues by building strong and amicable relationships with the workers and address problems with regards to leave, attendance & time office planning
- Carry out the exercise of performance appraisal for executive and staff employees in the distillery
- Taking decisions regarding promotions and increments
- Responsible for monitoring overtime and long hours of workers and also combat absenteeism
- Initiate training and development activities which include cross training for purposes of job rotation, acquainting workers with new equipment and training on behavioral skills
- Spend time with workers in the shop floor on a daily basis to have a better understanding of the problem or issue
- Arrange outdoor activities and other program to ensure a good work life balance
- Conduct surveys and meetings to keep abreast with the latest that is happening with the employees and
contain the grapevine
- Collaborate with the Union to ensure that there is smooth understanding between management and the union Problems and Challenges faced
- Conflict of interest between individuals
