The incumbent will be responsible for leading HR for the Aquafeed business. The role spans across all locations of Aquafeed business of the company in India including the plants, sales, R&D and support teams. The role involves partnering with the Business Head and the Aqua leadership team to drive the people strategy crucial to achieving desired business outcomes for the business.

In summary, the role involves managing the full spectrum of HR policies, services, programs and initiatives to deliver value to the business. The major areas directed are:

- Organization Structures & Culture: Implement the right organization structure in line with business priorities and goals to ensure optimum manpower productivity. This will be further supported by implementation of processes like performance management and talent development strategies to ensure a high performance organization.

- Talent acquisition: Implement appropriate strategies for recruitment of quality hires (white collared/ blue collared / contractual employees) across functions & regions, further supported by the right induction and onboarding processes.


- Employee engagement & retention : Drive the employee engagement survey for Aquafeed division employees to understand the voice of the employees and roll out corrective / developmental actions that have a positive impact of employee engagement and thereby productivity & retention.

- Total Rewards Operations: Drive and Implement compensation policies of the Aquafeed Division across locations including managing payroll activities at location level. This role will be responsible for design of appropriate policies like travel, sales incentives etc. which are relevant to the business and in line with the industry benchmarks.

- Sales effectiveness: Develop approach towards improving Aquafeed sales capability and execute the agreed process for sales force & managing attrition in sales force, institute measures of retention, evaluate predictive measures for arresting attrition. 


- Learning & development : Design, develop and implement a capability based training framework for various roles in the organisation


- Industrial relations: Manage all the trade union negotiations, wage settlements with unions; actively support 

business in resolving matters of conflict by providing legal and compliance-related subject matter expertise.

Position Requirements :

- 5-6 years of HRBP experience with a mid-sized employee group, preferably a stint each in Sales HR & Plant HR 


- Indicative Education profile: MBA from premier B-schools like IIMs, XLRI, TISS, SIBM etc. Preferably 2011 to 2013 batches. 


EMPLOYER - A 5000 Cr+ business with interests in agrochemicals, animal feed, poultry etc, almost 1500 employees and more than 50 manufacturing facilities across India.
