Our client - is a US based healthcare tech company - its suite of clinically proven and patented software applications utilize computation models and machine learning to provide treatment recommendations for cancer patients.

The Role - The HR leader role is a critical leadership position with multiple cross-functional responsibilities, including setting up HR processes and policies, talent acquisition, designing training programs, building a high-performance culture, and designing a competitive compensation structure. The role will report into the Chief Operating Officer and will lead the India HR team. - (currently a 4-member team) to closely partner with the business. We are looking for leaders who are capable of scaling distributed start-up teams, enjoy collaborating with internal stakeholders, and seek to build a world-class team. This role will be based out of Bangalore

Roles & Responsibilities -

- Take the ownership of the company's people & culture strategy and partner with the business leaders to support the organisation's growth ambition - building a high performance engaged organisation.

- Lead a recruitment team to enable quick and high-quality hires. We are growing fast - and therefore fast and quality hiring is essential. This would entail end to end management of the recruitment process - from candidate attraction to on boarding.

- Drive robust HR operations that includes establishing a strong compliance framework and knowledge of key HR processes such as HRMS, payroll administration, HR analytics, disciplinary actions and grievance redressal.

- Drive the rewards & benefits practices in the organisation to design and implement fair, equitable and industry bench-marked pay and incentive plans.

- Create a positive, growth oriented and cohesive culture by establishing industry leading employee engagement and wellness practices and establishing regular rhythms for employee communication and connect. The role holder should be able to understand the pulse of the employee and take actions accordingly.

- Lead & drive the performance evaluation processes with the right rigor & quality across the organisation. This would also include crafting a strong training and development plan based on the opportunities that the performance management process throws up.

- Manage employee engagement for a diverse group of 120+ employees from various departments including tech, operations, and clinical that are located primarily in Bangalore and Boston.

- Set up and implement policies around POSH, OSHA and other requirements to adhere to national and state level statutory guidelines.

Candidate Background -

- MBA with a specialization in HR from a premier B-School

- 7-10 years of experience in HRBP / HR Generalist roles

- Demonstrated effectiveness in written and verbal communication with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Proven track record in a fast-growth environment -building and scaling HR function covering people, processes and systems

- Data-driven, with strong problem-solving ability

- Good with stakeholder management at all levels in the organisation

- Proven ability to scale a distributed team
