We have been retained by a Global Consumer company to identify a strong IR professional for the Plant operations.
The incumbent will be overall responsible for Plant HR, IR and Administration & will report to Head HR - South Asia
Detailed Profile:
Recruitment and on boarding:
- Review recruitment requirement, finalise job design and skill requirement, provide sourcing guidelines to recruitment team
- Ensure recruitment as per timelines and smooth on boarding activities like medical, travel, background check, appointment etc
Training and development activities:
- Finalise training requirements for workmen, design a training calendar and seek approval wrt activities and budget
- Monitor execution of training activities, coordinate with external trainers wherever required
- Analyze training feedback and effectiveness
Industrial and Employee Relations Management:
- Review and finalise standing orders and workman code of conduct for the factory
- Monitor and review compliance to standing order and other statutory compliances
- Communicate employee code of conduct for managers and monitor overall employee relations as per the code of conduct
Design and monitor execution of employee engagement activities:
- Design employee engagement activities, roll out and communicate engagement calendar post approval
- Monitor the execution as per timelines and track effectiveness of the initiatives against desired objectives
Contract Labour Management;
- Review and finalise contract manpower requirements basis manufacturing plan
- Review and finalise contract agreements with contractors
- Monitor and ensure adherence to contract labour related statutory compliance
Plant Administration Management:
- Review and approve payroll records of workmen and resolve escalated workmen issues
- Finalise administration related vendor requirements and from work committees for transport, canteen etc
HR Information System Management:
- Validate and approve personnel trend reports and other MIS reports pertaining to HR for the factory.
The incumbent should be
- Post Graduate in HR from premier institute like XLRI / SCMHRD / SIBM / TISS / MDI
- At least 8 yrs - 10 yrs of post MBA experience in HR and IR in a Mid size / Large size manufacturing Company.
- Exposure to plant operation from a FMCG domain will be preferred.
