HR Generalist


Our client is a management consulting organization specializing in market entry, tax consultancy, overseas business set up, risk management, financial accounting and compliance. Their purpose is to help each business realize its maximum possible potential and ultimately lead to the overall goal. It has offices in New Delhi and Gurgaon. With rapid growth, the current employee strength of 50 is expected to reach around 250 people over the next three years.


Position : HR Generalist

Role & Responsibilities :

- To be the face of the organization when it comes to recruiting staff, which includes :

- Recruitment, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.

- To oversee acquisition of background checks and employee eligibility verifications

- To implement new hire orientation and onboarding.

- To perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale.

- To handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.

- To maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

- To establish a scientific methodology of appraisals and R&R

- To understand compliance with regards to TDS, PF and ESI - statutory laws.

Person Specification :

The suitable person should have the following skills and abilities :

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems (must have)
