HR Generalist (Work From Home)

Manage all HR end to end operations HR operations

HIRING

- Work with unit heads to understand organizational needs, staffing trends and requirements, and develop innovative, creative and flexible workforce and staffing plans.

- Develop job descriptions that are aligned, and consistent with job functions, qualifications, and compensation. Deploy talent programs in departments (performance assessment and review, succession planning, development planning and talent acquisition strategies).

ONBOARDING/ ORIENTATION/ OFFBOARDING

- Coordinate a smooth and efficient onboarding, new hire orientation and offboarding process with employee, inter departments and TM/ PMs

PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT

- Coordinate the 2 week, 1 month and 3 month evaluations for new hires with the TM/ PMs

- Provide HR observations related to strategy/performance and establish metrics to measure performance against established goals and strategies. Prepare relevant information and coordinate with the managers regarding the bi-annual performance reviews.

COMP & BENEFITS

- Prepare relevant information and coordinate with the managers regarding the annual compensation reviews.

- Create a compensation structure for department and role consisting of base and variable pay.

- Ensure that expenses, sign ins and timesheets are reviewed in a weekly/ bi-weekly basis and payroll is processed on a bi-weekly basis

- Update all project specific payroll reporting on a monthly basis and send the reports to Accounts/ Client rep.

- Oversee all benefit and payroll processes including the HRIS/ payroll system. Serve as benefits manager for all benefits. Regularly evaluate plan designs and work with brokers to aggressively negotiate insurance rates. Oversee reporting of enrollment changes to third party provider.

- Ensure timely renewal of all HR related insurance policies in compliance with the state and federal regulations

- Implement programs to recognize service and celebrate achievement by team members. Refine the STAR employee appreciation program to encourage employee performance and rewards

COMPLIANCE & LEGAL

- Update organisation's Policy Manuals on an annual basis and ensure 100% compliance.

- Assit the QA and Department Managers in all internal and external audits. Participate in the annual HR internal audit to ensure compliance with internal and external agencies

- Create a Code of Ethics Document and ensure it is followed by all

- Ensure compliance to all federal, state, project and Company COVID protocols as per the CDC Guidelines

- Ensure that the organization and HRD is compliant with all federal, state and agency requirements

- Define all HR processes and delegate roles and responsibilities

- Lead initiatives related to quality, safety & compliance, physical security, data security and professional ethics.

- Coordinate with employees, management and attorneys regarding all immigration matters to ensure that organisation is compliant with USCIS

- Maintain and expand knowledge and understanding of existing and proposed federal and state laws/regulations affecting human resource management. Interpret appropriate laws and policies and advise management and employees accordingly.

EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT

- Keep employees up-to-date with the ongoing and upcoming HR news and create a positive and fun work environment

- Ensure that all employee queries are responded to and resolved within 48 hours and within 24 hours depending on the urgency. Drive action planning as a result of engagement surveys

- Prepare and plan for all HR related events and meetings to facilitate better employee engagement. Promote and foster a healthy work environment; raise awareness of available programs to assist team members. Implement team member engagement programs and positive team relations programs.
