Responsibilities:  - Strategy Development - Supporting the People Director to:  - Contribute to the strategic direction of the People function by undertaking appropriate diagnostic work  - Facilitate effective implementation of new People initiatives in designated areas as appropriate  - Ensure the alignment of people strategies with existing company policies and procedures, and update as required  - Work closely with the Zone People team to develop and implement ways of working to Zone aligned functional teams  Meeting the Business Need :  Relationship Building :  - Build successful relationships with key internal and external stakeholder  - Develop strong networks across the SCC and Global BU and People Team  - Maintain external relationships with authorities  - Ensure ability to respond in a timely way to People demands  - Establish a good understanding of the business environment, across the Center  - Undertake specific project work as required (e.g. Change Projects)  Line Management Support :  Resourcing :  - Provide resourcing advice to all functions as required  - Ensure agreed recruitment processes are followed  - Develop good relationship with external agencies as required to ensure agreed service levels are achieved  Operational Advice & Support :  - Provide day to day support to line managers in line with agreed levels and standards required  - Provide advice and support on disciplinary and grievance matters as appropriate and application of People policies (e.g. disciplinary, grievance, flexible working)  - Maintain up to date knowledge of the legislative framework  - Maintain appropriate SLA for key departments on the level and standard of day to day support required  - ER Advice  - Support the promotion of a culture of performance, change orientation and improvement  - Where appropriate, challenge existing ways of working to ensure all staff align with the organisation's policies  - Ensure all ER matters are managed appropriately  - Assist in the review performance management processes across each function and implement agreed action plans as required  - Calibre & Leadership Development, supporting the People Director:  - Training needs  - Liaise with regional PC team to ensure effective training and development plans in place for individuals and teams  - Develop appropriate actions to ensure these are integrated into individual performance reviews  - Leadership Development  - Monitor and lead the local OPR processes to ensure a consistent approach and timetable is aligned to the annual people cycle  Requirements:  - 5 - 10 years of overall experience, with at least 5 years within HR Business - Partnering  - Full time MBA is a must.
