About Our Client :

Our client is amongst the largest global chemical giants. With 50bn+ in revenue and a strong growth strategy for India, they are looking to hire an HRBP for their sales organization with a oversight of the plant to be based in Chennai.

Job Description :

Reporting into the Head for India, your responsibilities will include:

- Working as the lead HRBP for 2 business units with direct responsibility for 300 in sales + a plant based in Chennai

- Having the business strategy and needs in mind, set up, implement and continuously improve the various HR processes

- Create the annual HR plan and long term strategy based on the business objectives Partner and influence business leaders by providing professional human resources advice, counsel, and practical solutions

- Drive and improve the effectiveness of Performance Management System across the organization Organization effectiveness - Always look for opportunity to strengthen the organization of the country

- Build good relationships and keep adequate communication with all levels of employees and manage the employee relations

- Cascade and support HR related initiatives from global and region Being as the change agent and enforce the company culture and promote right behavior Talent development - lead all the development initiatives in country including talent review, succession planning, training and development, etc.

- Oversee all Plant HR related issues and act as the single point of all escalations

The Successful Applicant :

- You will come with 8-12 years of experience with a exposure to both plant HR and Sales HR.

- This is an individual contributor role and thus hands on experience in managing multiple stakeholders in a highly matrixed environment is highly desired. We are looking to hire candidates from manufacturing / chemicals / pharmaceutical or FMCG organizations only.
