Duties/Responsibilities -
As a Business Partner
- Play a pivotal role in assimilating, managing and growing the various brands that company partners with. Work closely with the founders to enable a one-team vision
- Productize several HR practices including brand on-boarding and implement best practices across the org within each of the brands
- Implement HR efforts that effectively communicate and support the company's vision, mission and values.
- Manage all human resource initiatives, such as recruitment, compensation, benefits, training, and employee relations for the respective cohorts
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to present a common front to the brands side of our business
- Partner with the function head to make available proactive data that enables decision making
- Work closely with the Talent Acquisition CoE to ensure talent requirements for respective brands are anchored with you
As a Generalist -
- Work horizontally across all corporate people-initiatives, processes, systems
- Be aligned to bring about continual improvements in ways of working to keep Company in the top decile of consideration sets as an Employer of Choice
- Work across Performance Management, Learning, Talent Management, Rewards & Recognition and Engagement as functional areas
- Work in the domestic and international context to understand employment laws, processes and ways of working for business expansion
Required Skills/Abilities -
- Superior quantitative skills and ability to naturally work with numbers, data and an ability to communicate information in a way that aids decision making.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Interpersonal skills to effectively manage, interact, negotiate, and communicate with employees.
- Grit and perseverance to represent the HR team and oversee the respective cohort's initiatives
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills that ensure successful human resources management.
- Time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize accordingly.
- Knowledge and ability to communicate company policies and enforce decisions within your authority.
- Ability to work at a very high paced environment and with minimal supervision
- Ability to manage conflict and operate in ambiguity
- Know-how of HRMS (Human Resource Management System) and/or HRIS (Human Resource Information System) software.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to identify, analyze, and resolve all HR-related issues.
- Strong budgeting skills to efficiently manage HR finances and resources.
- Knowledge of local (mandatory) and international (preferable) employment laws and regulations.
- Flexibility to improve and adapt to the needs and demands of the organization.
- A sense of humour
