Location: Mumbai Major Accountabilities: - To partner with the business in providing value added HR services which enable business performance in the SBU - The HR Business Partner must provide strategic input to management teams, and build leadership capabilities, organizational capabilities and a culture to win in the local market place in conjunction with group HR - The HR Business Partner must ensure the implementation and rollout of high value HR processes at business level (as owned by Group HR) and ensure that transactional HR excellence is provided. - Coach and influence business managers - Workforce performance analysis and improvement (champion performance improvement by analyzing performance, absence, turnover and engagement within each business area; drive processes to facilitate improvement i.e. building a performance culture) - Drive/execute local compensation and benefits strategy (differentiation and total rewarding structure/management in alignment with the Group Comp & Ben strategy) - Plan and facilitate relevant training and education in the business. Support organizational design initiatives. - HR Communication/Branding (transparency and openness) - Manage recruitment with the team for the SBU - Drive and execute Performance Management process - Drive and execute employee engagement process Experience: The ideal candidate will be an experienced leader with at least 15 years experience within HR. The person should have an outgoing and convincing personality and able to coach and influence business managers. The person should have a sense of urgency and result orientation, should be able to communicate and drive the necessary changes within the business. - Relevant master's degree and professional HR background - Business acumen - Cross-functional HR knowledge - Implementation skills, communication skills - People management skills - Experience with employee / industrial relations
