Position Summary

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with people and HR agenda and processes for employee groups in designated business units. The position formulates partnerships between the assigned business units and HR units and HR function to deliver value-added service to employees and managers that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business and conceptual HR literacy.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

- Conducts weekly meetings with respective business units to understand people related issues and propose solutions po-actively.

- Consults with line management, providing HR guidance on HR processes and people topics when appropriate.

- Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the managers, heads of the department and HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies for people related topics.

- Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations on people issues.

- Takes ownership of all talent acquisition, development and retention related processes and interventions, ranging from conceptualization to implementation.

- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions etc).

- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.

- Advises people managers on terms for job rotations, promotions, and transfers.

- Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning, and facilitates discussions with business stakeholders to concrete plans and actions.

- Partners with RPO and Operation Excellence teams to ensure HR service delivery to assigned BUs.

- Identifies training needs for business units and individual development as well as executive coaching needs.

- Conducts training for employees and managers as part of broader culture change program, with focus on performance management, team management, leadership accountability and collaboration.

- Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success.

- Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.

- Delivers on assigned HR projects and performs other related duties as assigned

Eligibility criteria:

- Min 10-12 years of work experience in mid/ large sized manufacturing industry only

- Should have Plant HR/IR knowledge and managed a team of 4-5 team members.

- working knowledge of multiple human resources disciplines that include recruitment, onboarding, compensation and benefits, diversity & inclusion, employee engagement, PMS and Training and development

- MBA in HR preferred or minimum a bachelor's degree is a must. Experience in SAP is Mandatory.

- Must have prior experience as an HR Business Partner for a global business.
