1. Recruit, screen, interview and evaluate applicants. Drive Strategic Workforce Planning Initiatives.

2. Manage and maintain all facility programs and systems related to Employee Benefits, Employee Relations, and Staffing.

3. Manage and coordinate wage and salary plans in line with the performance appraisal system and other relevant policies.

4. Advise and assist supervision in the interpretation and application of programs and policies. Recommend and drive policy updates.

5. Oversee facility safety programs, including first aid, audiometric testing, sound level monitoring, sight conservation, foot safety, and general facility safety in accordance with OSHA requirements. Keep supervisors informed of OSHA regulations.

6. Maintain effective employee relations and communications, and represent employee welfare in the administration of programs and policies. Coordinate with Corporate Human Resources in the interpretation of policies and procedures, and in the solving of job problems.

7. Assist in the development of our people and the organization. Drive Gap Analysis and JASA efforts.

8. Insure that the facility observes Local, State and Federal Labor Laws and rules.

9. Represent the facility in areas such as OSHA, EEOC, etc.

10. Maintain the Human Resource Department budget according to plan.

11. Drive training and development courses and strategies to support long term workforce planning.

12. Coordinate and monitor all activities related to any mandates from Federal, State, or other local governments which impact employees

13. Drive and influence other facilities and Corporate on global program developments.

14. Provide a professional HR service to managers and employees that support all aspects of the business activities. Act as advisor and coach to managers.
