Purpose of Role The role is accountable for all aspects of maintaining the process, stability, modernity of the underlying applications assets, and work closely with Process Organization, the BRM organization and also the BAU organization. The role will establish the Global HR COE presence in India by creating and delivering a global footprint plan that will result in the transition of work to Bangalore while delivering world class services to the markets and functions. Responsibilities Establish the HR Apps COE by leveraging the global footprint to: - Directly run the HR Apps COE - Develop a precise roadmap, process and system framework, sequencing and delivery of work that comes in as part of BAU and/or from HR transformation - Develop a methodology &amp; deliver the approach to maximize the Bangalore centre. Work closely with HR Transformation and Governance teams globally to ensure governance and risk assessments and corresponding mitigation plans while delivering improved service levels and costs - Leverage the high level blueprint in business case to determine the capability required (including the appropriate locations, mix of internal versus third party) and resource the HR COE resources including the establishment of resources in Bangalore - Drive common processes and ways of working globally to optimise and expand COE - Partner with the CTO leadership and LT to drive optimization through co-location efficiencies, load balancing, role assignment, automation and robotics. - Effective stakeholder management across internal and external stakeholders - Amazing Relationships: Build deep, collaborative relationships with Market and Function BRM leads, Enterprise Operations Tower leads such that he / she is seen as an influential leader in facilitating conversations to drive breakthroughs in business performances and in maximising opportunities. - Compliance &amp; Controls: Promote and sustain delivery of satisfactory compliance and controls environment through solutions and services delivered. - Develop a high performing, motivated team globally-dispersed, multi sourced team across time zones - Identifying talent that can be moved / deployed to perform a COE role - Create and sustain a highly motivated team of highly skilled and talented individuals who bring the purpose to life and deliver word class services - Proactively advocate for and instil confidence throughout the organization in the technology capability at the Bangalore centre to further enable migration of activity to this location Communication - Frame of communication: deal with conflicting objectives that inhibit reaching a solution within the global organization - The role will require to come to agreement by managing communications through discussions and compromise. Issues are short-term operational, medium-term tactical or limited strategic nature Innovation - Problems and issues require broad- based solutions requiring consideration of two of three dimensions - Operational, Financial and Human - Change significantly by enhancing entire existing processes, systems or products. - Develop truly new concepts or methods that break new ground We are looking for : - At least 15+ years of progressive responsibilities in Information Services (IS) or an IS focused business area - Proven experience in setting up and running similar HR tech centres for other multinational companies - IT functions - Proven experiences and ability to ramp up skilled teams in specific areas - Working experience in most if not all the verticals in technology spaces like Workday, Cornerstone, Cloud Apps, Doc Genie, Kenexa, JML technologies, etc. He/she should be familiar with aspects of architecture, security, application dev and support and corresponding people management - Should have lead COEs/ Specialism towers and should have hands on operating experiences - Demonstrated ability to build and maintain good business relationships - Proven ability to own and manage budgets and commercial savviness - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field. Masters in Business administration/HR field will be an added qualification - Experience of leading organisational change within a matrix managed organisation
