Role Overview

- The HR Head responsible for implementing HR policies/procedures, handling the whole gamut of functions pertaining to HR Planning, HR Budgeting, HR Audit, Statutory Compliances, Competency Based Interviewing, Talent Acquisition/ Development, Setting up challenging Performance Contracts and conducing Performance Review Discussions, Designing and Implementation of Employee Engagement Program, Welfare, IR Matters, Competency Mapping, Counseling/ Coaching/ Mentoring.

Roles & Responsibilities

Human Resource Development

Strategic HRM

- Interfacing with Management and Heads of Department for implementing HR policies & procedures in line with core organizational objectives.

- Coordinating for the development of departmental budgets and ensuring adherence to the same.

- Facilitates Organizational Development plans for enhancing the operational effectiveness:

- Design and implement HR strategy as per the overall business strategy.

- HR Policy formulation and communication strategy.

- Competency analysis and competency mapping.

- Building HR Scorecard & business balance score card and implemented strategy.

Personnel Administration

Recruitment & Resourcing

- Securing diverse talent to meet the organization’s future needs at all levels,

- Overseeing the management of the complete recruitment life-cycle for sourcing the best talent from diverse sources after identification of manpower requirements.

- Planning human resource requirements in consultation with heads of different functional & operational areas and conducting selection interviews.

- Overseeing induction/ orientation as well as implementing induction & personnel manual.

Performance Appraisal

- Responsible for implementing increment, incentive and other remuneration policies.

- Managing appraisal process across the levels and establishing framework for substantiating Performance management system linked to reward management.

- Administering conceptualization and implementation of the Performance Management System for rewarding exceptional performers.

Training & Development

- Conceptualizing & developing training & development initiatives for improved productivity, building capability, etc.

- Identifying training needs across levels through mapping of skills required for particular positions and analysis of the existing level of competencies.

- Organizing training programs of internal & external agencies, developing multi skills as per defined standards.

Compensation & Benefit:

- To manage monthly payroll inputs & ensuring salaries are paid to the employees on time.

- Designing, overseeing and implementing companies’ compensation and benefits programs.

- Monitor salary structures and benefit at all times, balancing staffing needs with cost controls, and ensuring that policies, procedures and programs are in alignment with the organization’s overall strategic objectives .

Administration

- Responsible for handling all administrative activities like maintenance of office equipment, transport, housekeeping & maintenance of office.

- Overseeing staff pantry, monitoring adherence to statutory regulations & compliance with various governmental agencies; monitoring disciplinary issues & legal matters.

- Ensure cost effective logistic operations & seamless materials movement to ascertain sufficient inventory levels.

Industrial Relations

- Establishing two-way formal as well as informal internal communication channels to bring transparency in industrial relation system.

- Advising & representing management in matters before Courts & Tribunals; institutionalizing sustainable IR policies which are in long-term interest of the organization

- Negotiating and amicable settling of issues among the workmen, staff, officers, managers and unions arising due to time office, salary& wage administration matters.

Change Management

- Facilitating management and acceptance of change by the associates and staff of the organization by organizing extensive awareness campaigns in the organization.

- Supporting organization-wide initiatives to enhance motivational levels and job involvement of the associates, thereby leading to lower attrition levels and increased employee productivity.

Desired Profile:

- Demonstrated track record of setting up, managing and improving the strategy and process of talent acquisition, talent development and talent management for entrepreneurial young teams;

- Strategic understanding of the business environment, and ability to translate this into HR strategy and operations;

- Able to solve problem both operational and strategic issues through a pragmatic and commercially sound approach;

- Strong interpersonal communication and networking skills.
